Laboratory General Information
Laboratory Staffing:
The laboratory is staffed by 2 Medical Technologists, 3 Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technicians, 2 Phlebotomists and a Manager.
The laboratory has technical personnel in house from 06:00 until 24:00 Monday-Friday and from 06:00 until 23:00 Saturday and Sunday. After 16:30, there is normally only one technical staff on duty.
After these hours, laboratory personnel are available on a callback basis.
A phlebotomist is on duty seven days a week from 06:00 to 14:00.
Laboratory accreditation:
The laboratory holds a certificate of compliance from CLIA through CMS.
Laboratory turn around time:
The laboratory staff strives to return test results to the physician within 30 minutes of the time the specimen is received in the laboratory.
